Sunday School

We have classes for all ages every Sunday from 9:00 - 9:50 AM.   Adult classes rotate every few months, and there are usually between 1 and 3
classes to choose from.  Each week is a stand alone lesson, so if you do have to miss a class, you will not fall behind!

Some people are of the opinion that Sunday School is only important for children.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Sunday School
provides an important place for many things in the lives of adult believers.

A Place of Strength - being a member of a smaller study group can encourage believers in their relationship with Christ, and also increase the
bond one has with other believers.

A Place of Knowledge - an active and vibrant Bible study class will challenge you to become more proficient in God's Word.

A Place of Belonging - learning/knowing people's names, their family members, and occupation will lead you to be more apt to pray and care
for those families and encourage them in times of need.

A Place of Prayer - "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed.  The intense prayer
of the righteous is very powerful" (James 5:16)

A Place of Service - we should seize all opportunity to express God's love to one another.  That love can be expressed through prayer,
words of encouragement, and acts of compassion.

Classes starting March 5th at 9:00 AM:

     "Glory Days"

Do you ever feel like you're stuck in a spiritual rut or that you're running on empty?  The Israelites certainly did, but just as they
you too can move from the wilderness to the Promised Land.  In Glory Days, Max Lucado invites readers to leave the wilderness
and discover a life defined by grace, refined by challenge, and aligned with a heavenly call.  By studying the life of Joshua
and the book that bears his name, Lucado reveals God's promises for every step and reminds us that God still fights for us.

     "The Mission Of Jesus"

This study is part of the That the World May Know series, which weaves together historical, cultural, and geographical contexts to provide
insights into how people in biblical times understood Jesus' teaching.  Biblical historian Ray Vander Laan guides viewers on Jesus' path
through Israel - while exploring the rule of ancient Rome - and reveals how God brought triumph in a world of chaos.  These video lessons vividly
teach Christians how to bring God's peace to the chaos of others.
