ALL-CHURCH PICNIC: Please plan to join us this afternoon, from 3-7 PM at Clifty Park (across from East High School). We’ll start off the afternoon with an All-Church Softball game right at 3 PM, then enjoy a wonderful meal, some games for the kids, a time of worship led by Jacob Kennedy, a devotional led by David Lehman, and then wrap it all up with an All-Church Volleyball game! It is sure to be a blast and a great memory-making experience! Bring your lawn chairs and any equipment you may need for the games, and sign-up at the Welcome Center to bring a dish to share at the picnic. ROYAL RANGERS FALL FEST: All Ranger Kids interested in attending the annual Fall Fest this Saturday, September 18th, at Lake Placid, please see Commander Phil for all the details. Don’t miss this fun outing!
NEW S.S. CLASS BEGINS TODAY: Ladies, please join us for a new Sunday School class designed just for women! We will be going through the Beth Moore study, “Esther: It’s Tough Being a Woman.” If you’ve ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, and need something to aid you in your hurried, harried, and pressured life, this is the Bible Study for you! Cost is $10/person for the workbook. See Tammy Andreasen for details.
MEMBERSHIP CLASS: Our fall session of this class will begin NEXT SUNDAY, September 19th. Class will meet in Pastor’s Office during the Sunday School hour (9 AM) for a total of 5 weeks and is a pre-requisite to adult and junior membership at CFA. Sign-up on the clipboard today!
MARRIAGE ROCKS!: Couples, don’t miss this exciting evening of fun with hotmarriage.org founders, Steve & Debbie Buckner. SEE YOU AT THE POLE/ANDREW NIGHT: SYATP is coming up soon on Wednesday, September 22nd. Don’t forget to meet around your school flagpole before school that day for an amazing time of prayer! Then bring your friends to The Refuge at 7 PM, and join us for Andrew Night, featuring Josh Pearman, Youth Alive Director for Indiana, and a guest band. It’s gonna be an awesome day!
